David was born in Luanda (Angola) in 1970, which was still a Portuguese colony at that time. David and his family left Angola in 1976 to return to Portugal.

At the age of 13 David was accepted as a dancer who was given the opportunity to attend dance classes at the National Ballet in Lisbon. He took classes there for over four years. At the age of 18 he moved to Germany, where he earned his dancing diploma with John Neumeier. During this period, while training to become a dancer, he discovered his passion for acting. This inspired him to take acting and singing lessons and he was lucky enough to attend classes with Lilo Mangold and Nancy Bishop.

As an actor David has featured in several motion picture and TV productions like My Sweet Home, Running Scared, Summer Palace, Tatort HH, Soko Leipzig etc.

In the past 5 years David has made hundreds of voiceover-recordings for clients such as BMW, Daimler, Audi, VW, Bayer, Lufthansa, Siemens and Langenscheidt. David also offers translations from English and German into Portuguese.
