Jean-Yves' great talent as a voiceover artist is backed by his rigorous drama training, which make him an excellent dubbing actor.
As a voiceover professional, Jean-Yves is a marvellous narrator of stories and novels, as is proven by several audiobooks for children such as The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Little Nicholas by J.J. Sempé, as well as novels such as Cosmétique de l'Ennemi by A. Nothomb, among others.
He has also been involved in dubbing such films as Munich by Steven Spielberg and TV documentaries and commercials such as Esso, Commerzbank, Gauloise.

Besides Spielberg’s Munich, Jean-Yves has lent his voice to the dubbed version of many films like M. Winterbottom’s With or Without You, Nizza Connection, First Love, Risperdal, Faux para Faux, Noel, Erkan und Stefan, Mogadishu and Die Patin as well as for many documentaries and commercials.
Jean-Yves’s singularity is evident when reading poetry and recording audio books, both children’s stories and literary works.
Having studied dramatic art in France and Germany, Jean-Yves attended several drama workshops with Carlo Bosson at Cours Florent and "Commedia dell’Arte" in Paris. In Munich, Jean-Yves continued his training with Siegrid Hausmann and Pia Corvino at a special seminar on “Improvisation and Expression” as well as with Klara Szepessy. His participation in the Young Acting Talent competition earned him a first prize for Shock the Monkey.
Jean-Yves has acted in many film productions such as S. Hotz’s Operation Bluebird and Soko 5113 and theatre productions both in French (Cyrano de Bergerac by E. Rostand; Molière’s M. de Pourceaugnac and Don Juan, Marcel Pagnol’s Topaze , E.E. Schmitt’s L’Hotel des deux mondes) and in German (the science-fiction piece Das Wandlandtheater and Interaktives Theater für die Fraunhofer-Austellung 1999).
He has also worked on several episodes for the Hidden Camera series.
